Clad in glass and steel structure, the Cira Center, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a 28-story office building designed by Cesar Pelli with Bower Lewis Thrower Architects as the local architects. In 2004, ground was broken and in 2005 the building was opened officially.
With a skyway bridging the north parking lot and the 30th street station to the south, the Cira Center, aside from Center City, is Philadelphia’s tallest building and stands on Schuylkill River’s west shore in West Philadelphia’s University City district. Because Cira stands within a Keystone Opportunity Zone, its lessees receive Pennsylvania state as well as Philadelphia city taxes abatements.

The anchor tenants of Cira Center include SCA North America, the law firms of Dechert (Philadelphia’s largest law firm) and Woodcock Washburn. McKinsey & Co.’s first Philadelphia office is also found in the Cira Center.
